What is Taste of Abu Dhabi 2017?

Taste of Abu Dhabi is the capital’s largest and most loved food, drink and music festival! Our festival is jam packed with exclusive new restaurants, world class chefs, cooking classes, an incredible line-up of music and tantalising fresh features.

Taste of Abu Dhabi brings together not just restaurants, food and drink suppliers, but a line-up of innovative and interactive demonstrations dedicated to cooking and eating. If you love food, drink and music, you’ll love Taste of Abu Dhabi.

Where does Taste of Abu Dhabi 2017 take place?

Taste of Abu Dhabi takes place at du Arena, Yas Island and with it’s new parking lot, the venue is now even more accessible!

What are the dates and opening times of Taste of Abu Dhabi 2017?

Thursday 8th November: 4pm-11pm
Friday 9th November: 12pm-11pm
Saturday 10th November: 12pm-10pm

How do I buy tickets?

Ticket sales are now closed for 2016. Tickets for 2017 will be on sale soon and can be purchased on our website by clicking on the ‘Tickets’ tab.

What does my ticket include?

Thursday standard tickets:

  • Tony Hadley (ex Spandau Ballet) Concert
  • Entry into the festival
  • Access to all of the festival features – Chefs’ Theatre, Cooking Challenge, Kid’s Zone etc.

Friday or Saturday standard tickets:

  • Entry into the festival
  • Access to all of the festival features – Chefs’ Theatre, Cooking Challenge, Kid’s Zone etc.

VIP tickets any day:

  • Entry into the festival
  • Access to all of the festival features – Chefs’ Theatre, Cooking Challenge, Kid’s Zone etc.
  • Access to the VIP Lounge
  • 2 beverages from the private VIP Lounge Bar (grape, hops, spirits or soft drinks)
  • 3 food vouchers that can be redeemed at any of the 18 participating restaurants

Premier Lounge:

  • Entry into the festival
  • Access to all of the festival features – Chefs Theatre, Cooking Challenge, Kid’s Zone etc
  • Access to the non-alcoholic Premier Lounge
  • 2 drinks vouchers for non-alcoholic beverages
  • 3 food vouchers that can be redeemed at any of the participating restaurants

*It is recommended that visitors bring spending money to sample dishes from the participating restaurants. Each dish costs between AED 15 – 30.

How do I get there?

du Arena is located on the Yas Leisure Drive on Yas Island. Location map.

Does everyone accept Dirhams?
Yes, all restaurants, exhibitors and bars accept dirhams. Visitors can also pay by card at most stands and restaurants.

Will the event be affected by unfortunate weather circumstances?
Unless advised by the local authority, the event will go ahead despite any weather circumstances. So rain or shine, Taste will thrive no matter what!

As this is an outdoor festival, please wear appropriate footwear as weather conditions may vary throughout.

Should the weather turn for the worst, there are many covered marquee areas at the show.

Where can I see when the chefs are performing in the Chefs’ Theatre?

The Chefs’ Theatre page will have all the latest schedules up on the website. There will also be a schedule outside the theatre on-site.

Do I need to pre-book for a session in the Chefs’ Theatre or Cooking Challenge?

No, it operates on a first come, first served basis and all sessions are free of charge.

How much are each of the dishes at the restaurants?

The dishes at Taste of Abu Dhabi range between 15-30 dirhams.

Who are the organisers of Taste of Abu Dhabi 2017?

Do children under 12 require a ticket to attend?

No, but proof of identification may be required. Children 12 and above do require an entry ticket.

Are there any age limits?

No! Everyone and anyone is welcome.

Can I bring my own food and/or drink?

No outside food or drinks will be permitted into the site premises. There will be a security check at the gate.

Can I leave the festival site and come back in?

Yes, just ask for the security to stamp you for re-entry.

Will there be ATM facilities on site?

Yes, these will be located next to the main entrance.
