Nolu’s is a blend of Californian cuisine with an Afghani twist. First Nolu’s restaurant was opened in October 2011. It was named after Ms. Marjon Ajami’s two children, Noah and Lujayn. So far, Nolu’s has opened three branches in Abu Dhabi.
First branch, Nolu’s Al Bandar was founded in October 2011 in a small residential complex in the Raha Beach area. Located in an outdoor retail space with indoor and outdoor seating.Our second branch, “Nolu’s” Downtown at The Galleria opened it’s doors on February 2015. Located in the west wing of the Rosewood Hotel at Al Maryah Island.Third branch, Raw by Nolu’s is a small cozy café pushing boundaries of healthiness, enticing the palates of enthusiasts. It is focusing on the preparation of the dishes such as: superfoods, palatable grills, healthy bowls, srispy salads with fresh organic, supercharged, honest ingredients with home-made touch. Located in Al Seef Resorts and Spa by Andalus, Khalifa Park.
Since our inception, we have been voted the Best Café in Abu Dhabi for 3 years in a row by the Time Out Magazine. We have taken the Californian “farm to table” concept and fused it with traditional Afghani dishes as well as some classic American ones. The atmosphere is very relaxed, warm and comfortable. Our service is defined as being friendly without being familiar.
As more customers move towards eating and living healthier, this leads to both an opportunity and a threat. There is a potential to grow our customer base but consequently this opens up the market segment to more competitors.
Our mission is to make the Nolu’s brand a lifestyle choice, a brand synonymous with fresh, healthy and organic foods served in a relaxed atmosphere. This will be accomplished through an extensive marketing/branding campaign emphasizing our new tag line:
