Born to a family of foodies, Chef Ankit enjoyed his mom’s cooking which has always brought his family together in happiness.
The journey of becoming a professional chef happened by coincidence and was an inspiration from the successful catering business of his close friend.
His work ethic as a creative chef was developed while he was working in a busy kitchen in Delhi, crafting elegant looking dishes with life and feeling.
He has assisted in opening two dinning concepts with Zorawar Kalra (one of the many reputed restaurateurs in India), Masala Library by Jiggs Kalra and Chef Kunal Kapur(celebrity chef) and Namak at Dusit Thani Abu Dhabi.
Having had the opportunity to work with the best in the culinary industry, Chef Ankit has learned to lead a team of talented chefs to develop creative spin of Indian taste with a fusion of global cuisines flavours at Namak by Kunal Kapur.
